I'm afraid that the Tories getting power again was inevitable. There were a lot of youths who voted this time around who were born between 1980 and 1993 who only new Labour... They were always bound to make the error of trying the dark side.

For me, I've always followed the core principle (doctrine) of the parties.

In a nutshell...The Tories believe that it is best to give a free hand to the rich to get richer and thus their growth and wealth will trickle down to the poor and aid their growth.

Labour believes that it is the duty of the state distribute the wealth of the nation to the less well off or able to allow a reasonable safety net to live.

Labours core principle is why they created the wealth fair state and the NHS...they may not always get it right (mostly because most of the west would prefer the USA model and I'm sure throws spanners in the works) but their Doctrine is in the right place...

Those vex kids rioting now, put the condems there....but they had to live it to know it.

The way I see it is Labour were fucking awful. I can't even justify how truly shit they were with words. Made it as though anyone could afford anything with the use of fake money - "live the dream" - Fuck off. I'm too young to really remember a Tory government but not naive to not know what they are all about the toffee nosed fuckers. I didn't vote cos all the parties are shit and most of the politicians are self-serving fucks. Having said this, Cameron is miles better than Blair...at the moment. Oh, if I could just have 10 mins with Blair in a soundproof room! I think the Tories are going about it the right way by putting money into science, technology and innovation as Britain needs to be a forerunner in these fields or it will have fuck all. All it has at the moment is the finance sector and tourism. One has been found out, the other is easily lost
