| Jones - 6.5. Decent enough handler of the ball but his ability to play crosses is worrying Kelly - 8.5. Fantastic tonight, should be knocking down England's door really Skittles - 7 Wilson - 8. A keeper without a doubt Aurelio - 8. Why, on earth...sorry...WHY ON EARTH DOES PLAY OVER HIM? I MEAN, REALLY? Jovo - 7. Started well but drifted into anonimity before being subbed off Poulsen - 2. Ill give him a mark purely by virtue that his tackling has improved. He was seen on that pitch less than a straight contestant on the X Factor Shelvey - 6. Good first half, barely touched the ball in the second Cole - 5.5. Good when in receipt of the ball, shite when giving it off again Cakes - 9 Motm. Id give him a starting berth against Fulham tbh Babel - See Cole Subs: Soto - See Skrtel Patch - 7.5. Some terrific energy and passes from him Kuyt - 6. Barely in the game, but then Kelly did most of the work on the right |

Can you even make this stuff up? |

What I liked about players like Kelly, Shelvey, Patch etc. was they showed they cared, they put the effort in. That free kick towards the end of the game, Pacheco ran to get the ball so that he could take the free kick, that is the type of player we need. One who is not afraid, who has the belief in their ability. Too bad Joe Cole took it off him. Fab should take all free kicks\corners when he is playing.
I read on BBC 606 that Joe Cole looked like he is running in water when he sprints, that really summed him up for me last night.
plays to justify Roy paying all those millions and two good prospects for him, otherwise Roy would have to take the blame for that as well.

| I really cannot get over how bad Poulson was last night. 3 times in a row he lost the ball in the stupidest fashion with loose passes, I ended up playing darts in the kitchen so I don't know if he was better in the second half but he's a worse player than Salif Diao and that is really saying something IMO _________________ "You won’t like me when I’m angry. Did your darts go straight through the board? |

Yeah, he ended up using meat cleaver as darts. I wonder if he had any picture on the dart board |

Haha there was a few thrown in anger but a few smokes of the herbal kind had me back to my laissez-faire and erratic ways on the dartboard.
Loving the darts recently, a sport for adonis-like kings just like myself. _________________ "You won’t like me when I’m angry. Becase I always back up my rage with facts and documented sources." – The Credible Hulk

| Went to Ormskirk... Lass is doing exams for her degree. Afterwards went out with her and her student mates. Start time was 3pm, so by 8pm was well oiled for the game.... Sat watching it and then go so bored I ended up suggesting continuing the pub crawl.
That's not normally me, but I just feel Roy has all our play in a strait-jacket. Its doing my head in and last night I was having a good time and this was just winding me up again, especially Poulsen who is shocking.
By the way, did anyone else here that prick Collymore before the game. What shit he talks... even about Jones being a rookie. WTF, the guy is nearly 30. _________________ We don't want fucking Martinez. Bungle was bad enough. - If FSG have any sense left them Rafa is the only candidate for the job.

| Come on lads. We learnt few things last night. Babel, Cole, Jova, Palouson, Konchesky....will have to be shipped out soon.
On a plus side Pacheco and Kelly looked the part while Eccleston and Shelvy showed promises |

That's why it's key to give Roy his cards ASAP. It will give the new man time to assess the glaringly obvious limitations of some of these players. |

Id keep Jovo, and put Cakes in the 'looked the part' category. But other than that, agree |
