Sly Sports have just spoke out about this and state he has a point, saying Dalglish did not do enough.

Ian Wright write for the scum rag mate, thats where the story will have come from, forget wright he doesn't know what he's talking about when it comes to Liverpool, what gets me about all those that try to defend Roy seem to forget about his record as a premier league manger.

average goals per game 1
average points per game 1.2
average away wins per season 3

these stats do not marry up with a team that should be competing for a top 4 place minimum and a possible tital challange depending on luck and other variables, those stats lead to where we are now, it has fook all to do with support for Hodgson and more to do with the mans lack of ability to take on a top job...

Again I am sick to death of these idiots trying to tell us what we need/needed to be doing regarding Hodgson and support, I was quite surprised to hear Digger coming out with the same shite the other day, he hasn't had enough time, he hasn't bought any players????? WTF

BTW, I heard yesterday that we were definately offered VDV in the summer but Purslow and Roy turned him down, why would any club want that buffoun as managers is beyond me...

The way I see it is if Kenny did help towards roys demise then he did do enough, he got rid of the away losing, not good enough prat who's made our club look like a championship team. Although I dobt kenny had anything to do with the sacking if he did then good on yer.

Personally Dalglish kept quite over the Roy/Rafa affair when he could have shown Roy up and he did request the supporters get behind Roy and the team, perhaps Ian missed that.
