A lad at work came into my office and asked me to look at the email he had forwarded. It was from an employee of one of our distributors.

"She's stuck in London. Had everything stolen. We need to send her money!"

I asked why he thought that someone in that position would send a request such as this to not their own family, friends, employer but to a contact at a manufacturer with whom they do business. He said, "She must be desperate!"

He's great with the customers though the thick twat.

If they really need help then direct them to either .....

A) The local Police Station, (in which case they won't attend because they're criminals), or

B) Their Consulate/Embassy, who are well placed to aid any of their nationals.

Thieving scum.

Send me cash... no reason other than it beats wasting on other scams.

If everyone in the world just gave me a penny, I'd be set for life.

Sitting on the River Liffey Boardwalk with a mate one Saturday having a spliff and this Dublin scanger walks past, tells us he needs €2 to call the Mater Hospital, his auld lad is in hospital in a serious condition and he needs to call him immediately..... we told him we had no change and so he shuffles off. We watch him go across the bridge, and walk back up along the river on the other side of the quay.

About 20mins later the same knacker comes up to us again, this time with the most authentic Belfast accent I have ever heard, and tells us he was on his stag last night in Dublin, and got drunk and lost his coat with all his money and credit cards and needs money to get back to Belfast. I asked him how his da was doing in Hospital or had he forgotten about him already, the guy looks at us and hasn't a clue what we're talking about.

I fucking hate Dublin at times, you can't stand outside a pub and have a smoke in peace without some scrounger asking you for money for cup of tea/hostel for the night, cigarette blah blah blah...

I am absoultely devasted to hear about your predicament and can honestly say if you had visited Liverpool instead of London you would still be in possession of all of your belongings, Liverpool is nowhere as bad as people would have you believe.

Please send me your bank details ( account number and sort code), also your credit card number, security code (last three digits of the number on the reverse), your date of birth and the first line of your home address. It may help if you also include your card PIN number just in case.

Someone on here mentioned the 419 eater scambaiting website. Some dead funny ones on that. One of them pretends he's a zookepper and requires all manner of animals for his zoo before he can release the funds to the African scammer. Goes on and on and on. Finally, the scammer realises he's being strung along and starts getting abusive in his emails. The scambaiter writes back going "yeah, you found me out. Just out of interest do you catch many people with these scams?" Reply was, "you'd be surprised how many" People who are so incredibly stupid to fall for these scams deserve it
