Was speakin to a girl at work who went to see Dara O'Brien. She said he was fantastic and she genuinely couldn't breathe from laughin so much, whereas, the previous night, she had been to see Peter Kay and said he was a shadow of his former self. Told a few funny jokes, that's about it. Nothin special. Each to their own when it comes to stand-up!

I think once a comic has a lot of TV air time they find it difficult to move on to new stuff, over the years new comics have come and gone each one the new thing but it seems they all have a shelf life, I thought Peter Kay was very funny at first but he is the same now as then and once you have seen it its gone,

1st time I watched Peter Kay I liked his act/type of humour - you know the stuff he did - The wedding do & talking about the fine rain etc but he regurgitates the same old stuff time & time again. I can't watch him anymore - just think he's boring/lazy.

There's one comedian I would have loved to have seen live - Bill Hicks

Lee Evans for me.

He was good lads, loads of new material ... he was on about his school days, a classic about them big teles on them 6ft high tele stands Very Happy ... the funnist for me was when he told us about a Scouse coach driver mate of his had taken a group of lads on a stag do to Blackpool ... this mate of his picked the group up and they were proper leathered ... half way home the coach driver glanced into his mirror to clocked this lad stood up in the isle having a piss in a bottle ... pissed off at this (mind the pun) the coach driver slammed hard on the breaks and the lad having a piss stumbled all the way down to the front of the coach waving his nob everywere whilest pissing all over his mates who were sat at the front of the coach ... the coach driver told the cunt to get off the bus and piss outside on the side of the road ... so the cunt gets off and emptys himself at the side of the road, the Scouse coach driver closes the door and fucks off leaving this cunt at the side of the road Very Happy

With you on that one. A truly great stand up.

Another I'm a big fan of is George Carlin. Very, very funny.
