| The same names keep on popping up but I think it's safe to say the following will be moved off the books:
Highly Likely Degen - it's over. El Zhar - ditto. Konchesky - less said the better. Poulson - ditto. Soto - Can't see him being kept on. Jovanovic - same again.
Maybe: Maxi - strange one this, personally I'd keep him as a squad player. Depending on his wages of course. Joe Cole - if anyone can handle his wages. West Ham most likely going down so that's one avenue cut off. Aquilani - Only a matter of time I think even though Juve are trying to haggle for the player Insua - He's a free agent come the summertime, would be surprised to see him back at this stage Aurelio - when fit he's been in the squad, but can't be relied upon N'Gog - has seen his chances severely limited under Kenny, fallen down the pecking order Brad Jones - never going to get a game, possibility to recoup the £2M invested in him. Ayala - can't see him cementing a place in the first team. Another season on loan? Darby - same again, another season on loan? Ecclestone - same again, another season on loan? _________________ "You won’t like me when I’m angry. Becase I always back up my rage with facts and documented sources." – The Credible Hulk

| Im fairly certain Insua signed a 4 year contract in 2008 so hes got another year left...not sure though. Darby will be gone, seems to have found his level with Notts County. Eccleston will go out til January at least, maybe come back for the back end of the season when injuries may start to pla a part and we need an intelligent, quick little player. Ayala will stick around I reckon, esp if Soto is sold. Leaves us with Carra, Agger, Skittles, Ayala, Wilson and maybe another. Can't see Kelly taking up the CB spot for a few years yet. |

Insua was on the last 12 months of his contract when he was loaned out. more staggeringly brilliant business from Cecil, "The Fernando Torres of Finance" Purslow _________________ "You won’t like me when I’m angry. | maxi rodriguez and joe cole combined wages near enough 200,000 grand a week for us..thats mad considering there both either 30 or nearing the end of their careers..and the best they can give to us is not as much as other potential targets on lesser wages.
soto,jova,maxi,cole,degen,elzhar,poulsen,ngog,aurelio,jones,konchesky- those wages combined gives us so much space to free up wages for better and younger players.
although maxi has had a decent season, its who hes scored against that makes me think he isnt worth the 90k a week which is rumoured to just be a squad player...either offer him 40k a week on a new one year deal..or forget it...sell the lad.
what would be nice is to get ashley young for instance, and have a second choice young player like sterling coming on the replace him in the last 10-15 games instead of a maxi rodriguez....i would love to see that....instead of getting these foriegn players on the twilight of their careers for experience |

| Agree with the highly likely list, I would be very suprised if they stayed. I would only keep Maxi out of those lot and maybe Ngog if we don't get a replacement for him. I think if we can get a loan deal for Ayala and Ecclesstone and maybe even Ngog that would be better for us. I would prefer Premiership loan deals like Bolton have done done with Sturridge and in the past Wiltshire. If they can get enough game time with a premiership club then that would benefit us and them. I would also keep Pacheco at Norwich and see how he does, if not then maybe a Spanish team to get his confidence back. I am still unsure whether we will invest in a CB this summer, only because we have so many for that position. The obvious problem is none of them have shown they are at the required level for a long enough period of time, but they could get better given time. I would prefer a new proven CB personally. If we can get a player like that Hungarian fella, who plays for PSV, I can't pronounce his name let alone spell it. He has pace, skill and can cross a ball. We are also heavily linked with Marvaux so another attacking player for free is great news (if true) for our attacking wide areas. With Spearing playing so well recently I can't see us getting another midfielder because we have Lucas\Spearing\Shelvey\Gerrard\Raul. | WealthyB wrote: | The same names keep on popping up but I think it's safe to say the following will be moved off the books:

£200,000 a week, where are you getting this from? Joe Cole is on 90k a week, Maxi is on nowhere near that.
I've even heard journo's saying that Maxi is on a lot less than you would think..

No it is the winger mate.
Balázs Dzsudzsák is his name, he plays on the left wing. Well he did when I watched him this season.
Have you seen much of him Davey?
