| Never thought I'd be saying that back in 1991....... How does that feel? Has a millstone been removed from our necks? How will it feel when the Mancs overtake our European Cup Record? (That's what they'll be aiming for next). They'll beat Barcelona you know for their fourth........I can feel it. |

| Woolton mate, chill out. Not everything in life is trophies. Think about this. If after Rafa's sacking and Roy appointment with the Yanks still at the helm they would have told you whether you'd take the scum winning both EPL and CL in exchange for us shaking off those two cowboys and getting King Kenny as a manager who still has got the mighty touch...would you have taken it? Because I would. Those Yanks almost flipped us over for good. I'm gonna concentrate on the fact that we are ending the season on a positive note, with new owners who are renowned in the US for being among the best of any sport team, and who have helped restore the Liverpool way again. I can smell good times ahead, regardless of what the cheating scum may or may not achieve. Let them have their day in The S*n. |

| the glazers chickens will come home to roost. Fergies been lucky with a couple of wide signings recently that have helped them. They have an aging spine and no cash to replace them. Soon as fergie has his heart attack they'll be out of the european cup and theyll be bankrupt. Theyll never match our euro record and with our young team we'll be in front domestically again soon. |

| depends on how success is measured.
If five european cups and eighteen leagues, is considered to be less successful than three (possibly four if they beat Barca which I doubt) and nineteen leagues then the Mancs have surpassed us.
If not we are still the most successful English Football Club.

| We're ascending at the moment. Stability has been restored and European Football is a good possibility.
Yes, today sucked big time but as someone posted about the rooster something or other... my point is that we've got our ducks in a row.
Things are looking up WD! Keep your chin up

| We haven't really been that team for over twenty years, we had two exceptional managers who won things during a six year period against the odds with many mediocre players but with some world class ones that made the difference. We were starting to get a decent team together under Rafa until the cowboys arrived. |

| Took them long enough over two decades under Ferguson's reign. They are only one title ahead of liverpool. At least now we are putting ourselves in a position to challenge. I have never felt more confident in the future of the club under the present ownership and manager. Onwards and upwards |

The self proclaimed "biggest club in the world" are now the single most successful team (domestically) in England for the first time in their history. It's only taken them 133 years. |

They haven't won it yet!! and even if they beat Barca they'll be one behind us in European Cups.
I reckon that still makes us MORE successful!! _________________ Thats It.....Game well and truly over....and I hate saying that!! Andy Gray 25/05/05.

| L22 is hitting the right cord on this.
Equally are we being a tad premature. I remember Manure needing to beat WHU or get a draw to win the PL and hope we beat Blackburn... people expected Blackburn to get a draw at the least against us. We all remember what happened on that occasion.
Manure go to Blackburn next week needing a draw. Blackburn need a win to guarantee safety. Who is to say that going into the final game of the season that Manure are not still looking for that point, similar to like against WHU many moons ago and some strange shit happens.
Equally Barca are no mugs. They absolutely destroyed them last time they met and that was a much better Manure outfit. Do we really think they can do it this time???
However going back to WD, it is this that has been nagging me for months now, certainly since we had Bungle enforced on us and I keep thinking that this is what those who despise Liverpool wanted and wished for. Rafa was too close to turning us round. Amazing how those who truly despised him where those who knew he could transform us from also rans to the real deal. Lest we forget, Rafa's average [YES AVERAGE] was 1.9pts per game, or 72.2pts a season, so that's average taking into account the 2005 season were a lot was sacrificed for the CL and equally last term which was full of mitigating circumstances... So if they lowered this average, what do you think it was deducting these from the equation??? Well I'll tell you, it WAS enough to see us being crowned champions this term.
So I truly despise the BELLENDS that wanted Rafa out, as we had one season were we went backwards under him, a season of so many mitigating circumstances and reasons. If properly supported then he could have turned us round and it would have been LFC who would have been looking at No19, as we had enough evidence and FACTS to prove the case.... So well done to all the NOBHEADS who wanted him out and got Bungle installed. You help to fuck us good and proper, you TWATS!!! _________________ We don't want fucking Martinez. Bungle was bad enough. - If FSG have any sense left them Rafa is the only candidate for the job.
