| From google translate:
Israeli relationship continues to break records: Champions of England and Liverpool, the player's team in 3 seasons, reached the conclusion in the coming days will link medical tests, and then sign the contract at the club luxury
The debate about the Israeli actor who is the greatest of all time probably will take forever, but after you read the following sentence could very well be you will no longer doubt. Yossi Benayoun, Liverpool tied the last three years, closed in Chelsea for 4 seasons to come.
Has been weeks in the British media reports that stubbornly champion England wooing another captain, today reported that the two clubs reached their conclusion about the transition. Benayoun coming days is expected to undergo medical tests, and then sign the contract at the club luxury London.
Yossi Benayoun started his career in 1996 Hapoel Beer Sheva, scoring 15 goals in 25 appearances. At the beginning of season 1998/1999 has great talent that season to Maccabi Haifa took her to the Cup Winners' Cup quarter-final.
Two years later, celebrated the first championship in Bunyan, when he led the Greens Caramel a great season. One year later brought a second consecutive title link Kiryat Eliezer, when he collaborated with an extraordinary manner Giovanni Russo Nenad Perrelli.
Season 02/03 was the beginning of the first European Benayoun, when he signed Racing Santander Spanish. The first season was not easy for Israel, but in the coming years when he received the keys Coach Benayoun showed what he is worth. His most memorable was against Real Madrid Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
After three impressive years in Spain, decided to move to England and signed a contact at West Ham. Had his first match Upton Park crowd became favorite player when he led the team to victory over Blackburn 1:3. In May 2006, played with hammers FA Cup final, where the team lost to Liverpool.
July 2007 reached a peak (to date, as stated) of the relationship career when Liverpool signed him for 5 million pounds. With the Reds failed to win national titles in the player, but also value respectable Champions League appearances (including a hat-trick against Abshiaktas). Benayoun scored a total of 31 goals in 139 appearances for Liverpool.
Now, as mentioned, closed Benayoun in Chelsea, it is likely that the titles arrive. Here are some of them share names Israeli action next season: Frank Lampard, Didier Drogbah, John Terry, Salomon Kalou. Indeed, appetizing |

| Liverpool FC midfielder Yossi Benayoun agrees Chelsea switch
http://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/liverpool-fc/129478-liverpool-fc-midfielder-yossi-benayoun-agrees-chelsea-switch.html
"Yossi Benayoun has penned a four-year deal with Chelsea, according to reports in his native Israel.
Last month the Premier League champions tabled an offer of £4million for the 30-year-old which was rejected by Liverpool but are understood to have increased their valuation but refused to meet his £10million asking price.
Carlo Ancelotti is keen to enlist the midfielder's services after allowing Joe Cole to leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer after failing to agree a new deal.
Benayoun penned a four-year deal to remain at Anfield last summer and became a regular fixture in Rafael Benitez's side over the previous two seasons despite a muted arrival from West Ham United in 2007.
But an increased salary and the prospect of regular appearances in next season's Champions League proved too strong for him to resist and he is set to return to England later this week to undergo a medical at Chelsea's training complex in Cobham before being unveiled."

| The Guardian (10 mins old).................
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jun/14/yossi-benayoun-liverpool-chelsea
"Yossi Benayoun has, according to reports, agreed to join Chelsea on a four-year contract from Liverpool, although it is believed that both clubs have yet to agree on a fee.
Chelsea have reportedly been pursuing the Israeli international for some time and see him as an ideal replacement for Joe Cole, who will leave the club next month after failing to agree terms on an extension to his deal at Stamford Bridge.
Benayoun has been a moderate success at Liverpool since joining for £5m in July 2007 but supposedly fell out with now former manager Rafael Benítez during the last campaign and has been looking to leave Anfield ever since.
According to the Israeli Sport 5 website, the 30-year-old has finalised personal terms with the Premier League champions, but the move is far from completed. Chelsea, it is believed, do not want to spend more than £4m on the player while Liverpool want closer to £10m.
Liverpool are currently without a manager following the departure of Benítez earlier this month and it is also possible that his replacement, widely expected to be Roy Hodgson, could demand that Benayoun remains at the club. It is likely, though, that a compromise will be reached shortly that will see the former West Ham player return to London."

| If we get 5 or 6 million for him, then it would make sense in a footballing sense, as he is now over 30 and we paid about that much for him.
However;
A) Who is sanctioning these sales? Broughton? But how can he be making footballing decisions?
B) Who will be brought in to replace these players?
PS- I know the answer to both is "we're fucked". |

| We should be getting £8M for Yossi IMO. If the league leaders want him then they should be digging in to those deep pockets. |

It is a good question, we are selling players while we have no manager. The people who thought getting rid of Rafa was a good idea then fool themselves by thinking we'll sign Joe Cole with the money. If it wasn't my beloved LFC it would be laughable. |

| Would Chelsea sell us one of their players?? No, so neither should we, if he wanted to leave then he should have been sold to a team outside the premiership.
Benayoun is a very good player, he has scored some important goals for us and he's got at least another 2 /3 years playing at this level.
It doesn't matter where the player wants to move to, we learned that the hard way when Heinze wanted to join Liverpool, but Fergie got his way and the player didn't get his move to Liverpool.
However it seems the board hasn't learnt their lesson from that experience. |
